Goodbye 2022 and Hello 2023

Hello! It’s been a while but I am back with a 2022 review and what I am excited about for 2023. I think 2022 was a great year but 2023 will be a better one! Here are some highlights from the past year and some things I am looking forward to in this next year.

First up here is what I loved about 2022

#1 Watching more live hockey games.

I love going to watch live hockey games because I get to watch my boy Conner McDavid in person score so many goals. He is fun to watch live with all the fans cheering loud. I hope to watch even more games live this next year. I like going with my dad since we get burgers at Kelly’s pub before the game and it’s become a tradition. I also have lots of fun when my friends can join me to watch games.

#2 Country Music

2022 was the year of country music. There were lots of great songs and albums released this year. I turn on Cisn country in the car and sing to the hot new songs played all the way to and from work. I like making lists of my favourite songs and albums so here is a short list of some of my favourites this year.

  1. Slow Down Summer - from the Where We Started album

  2. Doin This - from the album Growing Up

  3. Trouble with Heartbreak- from the Georgia album

#3 My Job

I have the best job ever. I really like working with the Sagiper team and we have lots of fun together. This year my co-workers and bosses officially crowned me as the official Tribal Cheif of Sagiper. Years ago when I first started working there we had a wing eating competition for my birthday that now we do every year and I give everyone a WWE nickname and job title. I am Roman Reigns of course which is the Tribal chief of WWE. I love everything I do at work but the best part is my bloodline at work which is my co workers.

#4 New House

This year we sold our house and moved out to the cabin for a while until we found our perfect new home. I am very happy to live in the new house and I can’t wait to make some new memories here. I am very excited to have my own official office downstairs. I also am happy to leave next to my cousins so I can see them more. The new house is close to my cousins and I hope to have them over for a hot tub lots.

#5 Visiting my Brothers in Australia

At the beginning of 2022 I flew to Perth to see my brothers Dyan and Jayden. On the first day we went to see their new crystal and stone store. It was lots of fun to see their store and get some gifts to bring home. We went golfing and there were kangaroos on the golf course. We spent lots of time in my brother’s pool at their house hanging out. We then went swimming on the beach lots and also saw the movie called Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle which is one of my favourite movies now. I hope to see them soon. I miss them and like spending time with them.

Things I can’t wait to do in 2023

2022 was a good year but 2023 is going to be even better.

#1 2023 is the year of the Edmonton Oilers

At Rogers place this year the Oilers are going to win and I want the oilers to win the Stanly Cup this year. I hope they get into the playoffs and take it all the way to the final. I like watching hockey so much and I think the best thing to happen in 2023 would be the Oilers winning the cup for Edmonton.

#2 Spend more time with Sarah

I hope I spend more time with my girlfriend Sarah in 2023. She lives in Calgary so we don’t get to see each other as much as I want so I hope we get to spend more time together. Maybe we can go on a trip this year in 2023.

#3 This year of 2023 is the Return of the Blue Jays

I want two players from the Jays to have a stellar year in 2023. The players are the king of Toronto Blue Jays himself Alek Manoah and the king of the monster home runs himself and my main boy of the Jays Vladimir Guerrero.

I can’t wait to see what happens this year of 2023. Hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year. I had lots of fun on New Years eve. We went to the Oilers game and had a very good banquet before. I had a bacon and cheddar burger with two patties and fries. The game was good but we lost and then after there was a concert. Brett Kissel performed and it was awesome. Thanks for reading my blog and I hope to post more soon!
